Tichá noc česky
Tichá noc, přesvatá noc,
v spánku svém dýchá zem,
půlnoc odbila, město šlo spát,
zdřímli dávno i pastýři stád,
jen Boží láska ta bdí,
Tichá noc německy
Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht,
wo sich heut alle Macht
väterlicher Liebe ergoss
und als Bruder huldvoll umschloss
Jesus die Völker der Welt
Tichá noc anglicky
Silent Night! Holy Night!
By his love, by his might
God our Father us has graced,
As a brother gently embraced
Jesus, all nations on earth, .
Písnička Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh,
O'er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtail ring,
Making spirits bright;
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight. Hi!
Chorus
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Day or two ago,
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot,
We ran into a drifted bank,
And there we got upsot
Chorus
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Day or two ago,
the story I must tell
I went out on the snow
And on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by
In a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed at me as I there laid
But quickly drove away.
Chorus
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Now the ground is white;
Go it while you're young,
Take the girls tonight,
And sing this sleighing song.
Just get a bob-tailed bay,
Two-forty for his speed;
Then hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! you'll take the lead.
Chorus
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
Jingle, bells, jingle, bells, jingle all the way.;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh!
